Avenue Des Camoens

Avenue Des Camoens

For a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower you have to visit Avenue Des Camoens. The best thing is that not a single tourist knows about it, so you will find the place all to your self (and the people living in these amazing apartments). You can then take the stairs down and walk along the Seine towards the Trocadéro gardens and cross the Pont d'Iéna to the Eiffel Tower.

La Pâtisserie Des Rêves

La Patisserie Des Rêves

My all time favourite patisserie must be La Pâtisserie Des Rêves. The concept is so different from all the other pattiseries and stores in Paris, it is very modern, colourful and exiciting. But at the very same time, just as delicious, or even better! You can order the pastry (or pastries in our case) you want, and then a couple of minutes later yours is sent upstairs in a pretty box.
We went there on the day of Christmas Evening and it was amazing to see all the French people pick up their delicious food for the holidays. We bought ourselves some breakfast and their version of the Saint Honoré pastry which we truly enjoyed.

Place Vendôme

Place Vendôme

The christmas decorations at Place Vendôme are some of the prettiest in the city. All the stores have the same  trees and lights and the store windows of the jewellery stores are, honestly, real gems.

Claus Paris

Claus Paris

One of the best things about travelling, at least for us, is having breakfast, lunch and dinner at fancy places with delicious food all day long. Breakfast at Claus was a perfect start of our day and we thoroughly enjoyed the croissants, berry pastries and lemon cakes, orange juice and breakfast tea. You can not get it better than that really. But make sure to get there in time or reserve a table, Claus is quite popular! :)
