The Hague: Royal Visit!
Today I went to The Hague with my family. We started our morning with some shopping and had lunch at Vapiano. Then we walked towards The Binnenhof, which houses the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. We noticed a lot of press and cameras in every size you could think of. When we asked what was about to happen our day trip to The Hague got a Royal flair: King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain came on a state visit to the Netherlands today. They had just been at Palace Noordeinde and had lunch with King Willem Alexander and Queen Máxima, and they would visit the Binnenhof and meet the leaders of the Senate and Parliament and the Prime Minister. So we decided to wait for a little while, cause hey, it's not every day you are able to see foreign Royals. When they arrived we were front row and saw them up close and it was pretty cool.
