Roseau Box

Roseau Box

When I saw the new AW 14/15 collection of Longchamp, I immediately started saving for the Roseau Box in the gorgeous bordeaux colour. But when I went to their store in Amsterdam, they had the larger version for sale! Right now I'm super glad I went for this one instead of the smaller version, since now I can use it all the time for any school day and take everything with me that I can possibly think of (which happens every day, to be honest). So this one (finally) has a bigger sister, which is totally water resistant and therefore perfect for rainy days and basically any autumn/winter day :)

The Hague: Royal Visit!

The Hague: Royal Visit!

Today I went to The Hague with my family. We started our morning with some shopping and had lunch at Vapiano. Then we walked towards The Binnenhof, which houses the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. We noticed a lot of press and cameras in every size you could think of. When we asked what was about to happen our day trip to The Hague got a Royal flair: King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain came on a state visit to the Netherlands today. They had just been at Palace Noordeinde and had lunch with King Willem Alexander and Queen Máxima, and they would visit the Binnenhof and meet the leaders of the Senate and Parliament and the Prime Minister. So we decided to wait for a little while, cause hey, it's not every day you are able to see foreign Royals. When they arrived we were front row and saw them up close and it was pretty cool.

A Day In Amsterdam

My dad had to be in Amsterdam for a work appointment, so my mother, sister and I joined him for the day. We started with a lunch at BBrood and then went to the PC Hooftstraat (where I bought a gorgeous bag which I will show you in an upcoming post!). The sunny weather made it perfectly fine for us to wait a while for my dad in the park at Museumplein. We then walked, all together, from the Rijksmuseum to the Pompadour, to a different location than mentioned in this post. I truly enjoyed walking through a part of Amsterdam I had never seen or been before (although it resulted in a long distance between me and my parents & sister which, then again, is quite common when I take my camera with me), and these pastries will always make my heart go wild anyway.

I Must Have Flowers

I Must Have Flowers

Despite the fact that I have so much to share with you, I also have to apologize for the lack of posts these days. I spend my days doing a million different (but oh so fun!) things and unfortunately that instantly means I have less time to post. And all my favourite television shows are starting their new seasons again, so often I choose to watch a new episode over editing photos. But despite all of this, I always love posting new things, and to quote the Claude Monet ´I must have flowers, always, and always.´
